is an initiative under the Blue Ocean strategy 7 (NB0S7) which was mooted by our prime minister YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak to help lessen the daily financial burden of our police and armed forces personnel by providing a privilege card which entitles them to enjoy discounts when shopping.
Privilege Card for all nationalities
Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) and Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) are two government entities that dedicate and sacrifice their lives to the nation despite the dangers and threats that they have to face. The ATM forces risk their lives thwarting external threats constantly faced by our nation while the PDRM force risk their lives facing all social, scams and security issues within the country. Members of both agencies put their hearts and souls in serving the people of Malaysia, ensuring the peacefulness and security of our nation.
1M Privilege Card Phase 1
Initially, all 241,000 members of Angkatan Tentera Malaysia and Polis DiRaja Malaysia will be able to access the 1M Privilege Portal.
1M Privilege Card Phase 2
Next, government nurses and eventually all 1.4 million civil servants will be able to access the 1M Privilege Portal.
1M Privilege Card Phase 3
Subsequently, all Malaysians will be able to access the 1M Privilege Portal for mobile marketing and online shopping.
The 1Malaysia Privilege Card is launched by the Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Bin Tun Hj Abd Razak on 7 August 2012 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). As soon as the 1Malaysia Privilege Card is launched, recipients of the card i.e. members of Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) and Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) will be able to utilise it immediately at all participating merchants.
There are more than 15 merchants who have graciously agreed to participate in this exciting and beneficial project. Some of the merchants are BHP, Royal Bintang, Focus Point, Genting, MPH and many more. We will continue to update the list of merchants as and when they sign up to be part of this programme.
